設問の94なのですが、Eの選択肢が正解となっています。
解説には
to allow members to go homeのto go homeとパラレルで
to be confined to the hotelが正解と言っているのですが
これだとto allow members to be confined to the hotelと文が続くことになり
なんだかしっくりしません。
to allowとto confineをパラレルにするBのほうinstead ofの意味が多少変ですが
文意は正しいのではないかと思ってしまいます。
私の理解は間違っているのでしょうか。
